My name is Lucia.
From a young age, I had a desire to do good; to find a way to be better for the sake of our planet. I have found my path at the intersection of beauty and creation – of creating and nature. And I know who led me here.
I was blessed enough to have a great-grandmother who taught me sewing and the beauty you can create with your own hands, not to mention the hours she would spend cooking meals at high holidays. My Irish grandmother on my father’s side taught me that the small moments in life are what are worth chasing.
I have taught natural dye classes through Studio Azurra, and am currently exploring my ancestral heritage through connection with plants and place, diving into folk traditions, herbalism, and natural dyes. I write about this journey on my Substack.
