Caring for your hand-crafted and naturally-dyed garment can be one of the most critical parts to your wearable art lasting for years to come.
Washing Your Garments
Be sure to only use pH neutral soap when washing your garments. I highly recommend hand-washing, but if you must machine wash, ensure you select the delicate setting. Do not apply the detergent directly to the garment if at all possible. Use cold water.
Drying Your Garments
I always hang-dry my naturally dyed garments indoors. Drying them in the sun can cause the color to fade in some cases!
Additional Notes:
Each product is made using natural dyes. Colors gradually change overtime, and partial discoloration may occur. Colors may bleed and stain other clothing if the product is washed with other items or becomes damp from perspiration, rain etc.
